A New Song of Hope From St. Joachim Music Ministry!
Your music ministry has been working hard recording and videotaping a new song written by Andrew Everson for the times we find ouselves in. The email notice telling the choir the bad news that we would not be singing on Easter ended with the words "What a Great Day It Will Be When We Sing Together Again". That spontaneously written line quickly became a song, and the Church and School choirs swung into action immediately, recording it in a manner that observed all social-distance guidelines. The whole process was videotaped and now, after much post-production work, the whole project is here for our whole Parish/School to enjoy! Be generous with those 'Likes" and 'Shares'!!!

Under the direction of Andrew Everson, St. Joachim Music Ministry is dedicated to enhancing the worship experience through of multitude of musical styles. Whether it be a traditional organ with four-part vocal harmony or a contemporary ensemble of guitar, piano and violin, this ministry strives to express the glory of Our Lord through voice and instrument. Even youth will find their place in this music ministry though the Youth Choir - a high-energy praise group with great respect for Catholic liturgy.Our mission is to serve this parish community by providing the best music possible, to enhance our liturgies and give greater glory to God our Creator. We seek to provide music that is appropriate for Catholic liturgy while at the same time engages the congregation in full and active participation in responses, acclamations and inspired songs. To us, each rehearsal and Mass is an opportunity to serve Christ by serving His people here at St. Joachim. With God's help, and the prayers of this community, we hope that our ministry will strengthen the faith of all who enter St. Joachim Church.
